At Beyond Behavior Therapy, we provide focused, evidence-based support for children and young adults who are already capable in many areas but could benefit from guidance in specific skills. “Focused” means we work on a select set of meaningful goals, like social communication, emotional regulation, daily routines, or executive functioning—so your child or student can strengthen the skills that matter most to them.

Our approach is progressive, flexible, and empathetic. Every session is led directly by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who adapts in real time, incorporates the latest research, and considers the child’s internal experiences. This ensures therapy and support are responsive, individualized, and rooted in understanding the whole child.

We also partner with educators and schools, offering consultation, classroom support, and strategies to help students thrive in learning environments. By collaborating with teachers, administrators, and school teams, we make it easier to apply evidence-based strategies consistently and support students’ growth across home, school, and community settings.

Our goal is to empower children, families, and educators, building confidence, independence, and lasting skills while providing practical guidance to the adults who support them. Beyond Behavior Therapy offers in-person sessions in Santa Cruz and the South Bay Area, as well as Telehealth services throughout California, bringing compassionate, expert-led care wherever it’s needed.
