Building Connection Through Practice
Creating Meaningful Connections
Through Guided Practice
At Beyond Behavior Therapy, we’re excited to offer small-group social skills sessions available both in person (Santa Cruz) and virtually. These groups are designed for children and young adults who benefit from structured, supportive opportunities to connect with peers, practice social interaction, and strengthen emotional awareness. Groups are formed based on developmental level rather than age alone and are led by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certified in the PEERS® program from UCLA, using a naturalistic, play-based approach grounded in ABA principles. Sessions focus on key areas such as perspective taking, peer interaction, cooperative play, and cognitive flexibility. Each group meets once per week, with no more than four participants per adult to ensure personalized support.
